Adding Elegance with Ceiling Tiles: Hermann Furniture

Continuing my travels through the American South, wouldn’t you know it—I happened upon still another great installation of decorative ceiling tiles, this time in the heart of Texas!

Hermann’s

In operation since 1876, Hermann’s is not only the oldest family-owned-and-operated furniture store in Texas, but they also have a Floral and Design Center, a General Store, an Antique Mall, and even a Craft Mall that features art and crafts from local residents of the Brenham State School, a school for those with developmental disabilities. The residents create art and craft items that are sold at the Hermann Craft Mall both as therapy and to raise money for the school—a win-win situation for everyone!

While their original location is in Brenham, Hermann’s has locations throughout the state, including College Station, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, and more.

How’s the Weather?

Under the overhanging roof right outside the store is where I spotted this fantastic installation of our beautiful tiles in the perfect deep brown Dark Oak finish that complements the elegant furniture being sold inside.

The tiles really lend an air of elegance to the ambience of the store, and their solid weatherproof construction means that they won’t be ruined in the Texas heat, humidity, or rain.

Grads, Dads, Brides, and Grooms

June is the perfect time to visit Hermann’s. In addition to furniture and accessories, Hermann’s also carries gifts for those grads who will be, with any luck, finding employment and moving into apartments, as well as for dads who deserve a chance to lie back on their day in their very own recliner The furniture store even has a wedding gift registry, so that you’re sure to get those June newlyweds something that they’ll really treasure.

Down-Home on the Range

Hermann Furniture is a true community member, sponsoring special events throughout the year. Coming in June is a Feng Shui design seminar; in July, they’ll host a “Hot Nights, Cool Tunes” evening of music with The Newsboyz.

So the next time you’re trekking through the Lone Star State, drop by Hermann Furniture for a visit and to get a gander at our ceiling tiles. If you can’t drop by in person, you can still take a look by visiting the Hermann’s website at http://www.hermannfurniture.com or call them toll-free at 888-836-7237. Don’t forget to say, “Howdy!”
