I just love discovering new installations of our decorative ceiling tiles when I travel. A few weeks ago when I was visiting New Orleans, I found not one but two restaurants that used our tiles!
Located on the beautiful banks of Lake Pontchartrain, the Crescent City, as it is also called, is known for the exciting French Quarter, the cool jazz of Bourbon Street, and the world-class party that is Mardi Gras. Cajun Mike’s Pub and Grub and Huey’s Diner, both located in the heart of this historic and fascinating city, invite you to sample some of their delicious cuisine and sit back and enjoy in the ambiance of their down-home décor.
Cajun Mike’s Pub and Grub
Cajun Mike’s features traditional New Orleans dishes such as crawfish, seafood gumbo, and red beans and rice, as well as delicious ethnic sandwiches such as Maria’s Cuban pressed sandwiches and Cochon de Lait Po’boys.
All of these delicacies are enhanced by the décor that features our 148 “Tiny Tulips” decorative ceiling tiles in an Antique Copper finish. Cajun Mike’s is located at 116 Baronne Street. You can phone ahead at 504-566-0055. Check out their tempting menu!
If you’re feeling a bit peckish after listening to some cool jazz on Bourbon Street, you won’t be singin’ the blues if you visit Huey’s Diner. Open 24-7, Huey’s is the late-night hangout for cuisine synonymous with this beautiful city, such as Ninth-Ward Cheese Fries, Kingfish Chili, and Crawfish-Andouille Quesadillas.
Huey’s has installed our gorgeous 206 Large Snowflake tile with an Antique Silver finish. I guar-an-tee you’ll love both the food and the décor at Huey’s! Huey’s Diner is located at 620 Decatur Street. Phone: 504-267-0244 Visit Huey’s online!
So whether you’re in the Big Easy for business, Mardi Gras, or just a relaxing visit listening to some cool jazz in the warm air, visit Cajun Mike’s Pub and Grub and Huey’s Diner for some delectable dishes. And while you’re there, check out the wonderful décor featuring our terrific decorative ceiling tiles!
